Please note that it is the intent of The Basin Music Festival to promote live music and musicians within our community - not to simply provide another venue for paid gigs. This is a cooperative venture in which none of the organisers receive any payment, in fact most end up considerably out of pocket. We would like to pay everyone what they are worth but do not have the money. In most cases where payment is made it is for limited expenses only - not performance payment.
