STAGE 2012 To improve and develop the potential of The Basin
Big Break we decided to hold it as a separate event in 2012. (Established
acts can also apply to play at the regular The Basin Music Festival.). If you
would like to be a part beyond performing, get in touch and we’ll get you

resume of musical achievements. - A short demo CD or tape is desirable. ·
Entry
fee is $5 per solo act - $10 per band. Mail demo and entry fee to our
postal address (below). RULES of ENGAGEMENT ·
The
Basin Big BreakYouth Stage is open to all styles of
musicians up to 25 years of age. ·
There
are prizes for Under 18 yrs and Open ( up to 25
years) ·
You can
choose to perform 'in competition' and compete for the great prizes, or opt
to perform 'out of competition' to just enjoy the great gig. (Some very good
acts, including past winners, have already opted to appear "Out of
Competition".) ·
Each
performer is expected to perform 4 songs - however, if you're not confident
with that many we will accept any lesser number. (Our bottom limit is 1 - for
obvious reasons.) We must know at least three weeks ahead how many songs you
will perform. Further details will be emailed with
your acceptance or in updates closer to Festival time. |
